Getting your test results

If your doctor has sent you for tests or investigations you will be advised how and when to obtain the results.

• Get test results online
• Alternatively call us on 01628 530 997 and select option 3. The test results service is available between 11am and 6pm.

GPs may use text messaging to deliver simple/normal test results or to ask you to make a routine appointment for follow up.

Results of tests can be given by telephone by our administrative staff and you are advised not to make a further appointment until all the test results have been received unless you have been otherwise advised by your doctor or nurse. Please remember that our administrative/reception team members are not clinicians. If you have specific clinical questions you will need to make an appointment to speak with a GP.

Please note we like patients to be responsible for finding the results of their tests.

Results of cervical cytology tests taken by the doctor or nurse in the Practice will be notified by letter.

All consultations with any of our practice staff are confidential.

The results of investigations for anyone aged 16 years or over will only be given to the patient him/herself unless it has been agreed in advance with the doctor arranging the test.
