Planned Closure

All practice sites will be closed from 1:00pm on Tuesday 15th September for protected learning time.

The practice will reopen on Wednesday 16th September at 8:00am.

Protected Learning Time

GP surgeries and health centres across Buckinghamshire participate in Protected Learning Time (PLT). During these protected afternoons, when the practice is closed to patients, our staff have the opportunity to take part in training and professional development activities.

Protected Learning Time is valued by all members of our team and plays an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

What does this mean for our patients?

Bourne End and Wooburn Green Medical Centre works closely with the Out-of-Hours service to ensure patients can access appropriate medical advice and support when the practice is closed for Protected Learning Time.

The practice will be closed from 1:00pm onwards on scheduled Protected Learning Time afternoons.
